Stunning, rare and much sought after, this Colnago Master Krono time trial bicycle is a true gem. Colnago Master Krono Columbus Gilco complete bicycle with a shaped seat tube and a last generation Campagnolo Super Record.
The front hub is a very rare super record hub with an Ernesto Colnago signature logo pantographed on hub body. The gear shifters are pantographed with the Colnago “C” and “Ace of Clubs” symbol. This particular bicycle belonged to amateur cyclist Martinez, hence the quill stem with a “Martin” pantograph.

Martinez raced for the Verdellese team, and the paint job was made-to-order to reflect the team name (verde means green in Italian). The rear wheel is a carbon disc wheel painted with a red and green fishnet design and black Colnago logo present on both sides. The rear tubular tire is a “Colnago Servizio Corse” and the front tubular is a “Gomme Italia Servizio Corse”. The front wheel is a 26 and the rear is 28.

The bike comes in the original condition. The frame and the disc wheel show sign of usage. The toe straps are NOS Silva. The paint and chrome are original, there are a few scratches due to usage and storage, please see detailed photos below for further details.

Tubulars might have to be changed to ensure a safe usage of the bike.

For sale is a rare 1978 Colnago Super italian road bike. In grey colour, this bicycle is in original good condition, with the original decals on down tube and seat tube, and with new head badge decal applied. After a thorough clean of the frame, the original lacquer has been polished to a new shine , despite the small blemishes and paint chips the frame looks really good. The parts have been gathered with patience for this bicycle, and have been prepared carefully for install, overhaul of bearings has been done using finish line ceramic grease. The wheels have been newly built using DT Swiss spokes and nipples. The rims and hubs have been polished to mirror shine. The wheels spin and feel beautiful. The Continental Giro tubulars are not glued, but spin really well. The bicycle is built as it would have been in 1978 when it came out the factory doors. The Colnago branded Selle Italia of same vintage has some scratches but is a worthy saddle for this bicycle.

COLNAGO OVAL CX GENTLEMAN

For sale a super rare Colnago Oval CX Gentleman, size 53 seat tube x 53 top tube center to center. No rust and No dents. The frame was built by Colnago in 1983 in a small number of pieces. It is much rarer than the normal Oval CX. It uses the same Aerodinamic Columbus Oval CX tubes but different lugs and fork.
